The Opportunity

As we expand our team, we need an exceptional Head of HR to build and drive our people strategy. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape our company culture, implement impactful HR processes, and be the backbone of our employee experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead HR Strategy. Develop and execute the company’s HR strategy, aligning it with our business goals. From talent acquisition to employee development, you’ll drive initiatives that ensure our team is empowered, engaged, and motivated.
  • Champion Culture. Create and maintain a vibrant, inclusive, and innovative company culture. You’ll be the advocate for our values, ensuring they are embedded in everything from hiring to performance management and employee well-being.
  • Talent Acquisition. Lead and evolve our recruitment processes to attract top talent in AI, finance, and technology. Work closely with hiring managers to ensure that we hire for the future and continue to grow our diverse, high-performing team.
  • Employee Development and Engagement. Design and implement employee training, development, and engagement programs that keep our team learning and growing. Foster a culture of continuous feedback, growth, and leadership development.
  • Performance Management. Implement and manage a performance management system that encourages feedback, supports career growth, and holds team members accountable for delivering results. You’ll ensure the right structure is in place for ongoing development and success.
  • Compensation and Benefits. Manage our compensation strategy to ensure we’re competitive, equitable, and aligned with market standards. Design attractive benefits packages that support the overall well-being of our employees.
  • Employee Relations and Well-Being. Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters. Foster a positive, transparent work environment where employees feel heard, supported, and motivated to do their best work.
  • HR Technology and Systems. Lead the implementation of modern HR technologies and tools to streamline HR processes and create an efficient, data-driven HR department.
  • Compliance and Legal. Ensure the company is compliant with labor laws and regulations in both India and globally, as we scale internationally.

Qualifications

  • Experience. 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Ideally, you’ve worked in fast-growing technology or FinTech companies, or have experience managing HR for high-performance teams.
  • People-Centric. You have a deep understanding of employee engagement, culture building, and retention strategies. You know how to create an environment where people thrive, grow, and feel valued.
  • Strategic Thinker. You can see the big picture and align HR initiatives with broader business goals. You’re comfortable making decisions that impact both people and performance in equal measure.
  • Leadership Skills. You lead by example, inspire others, and know how to build and scale an HR team. You are a trusted advisor to the leadership team and know how to balance empathy with tough decisions.
  • Tech-Savvy. Experience with HRIS systems, performance management platforms, and data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with tools like Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Slack is a plus.
  • HR Expertise. In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and global HR best practices. You understand the nuances of compensation & benefits, employee relations, and the full spectrum of HR processes.
  • Communication. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You’re an empathetic listener, a transparent communicator, and a persuasive negotiator.
