The Opportunity
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our US-based hedgefund and private equity clients, ensuring their operational needs are met with excellence and efficiency. You’ll build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our clients, managing expectations, guiding them through our services, and providing proactive solutions to their challenges. You’ll work alongside an exceptional team of financial experts and cutting-edge technology to help shape the future of investment operations.
What You'll Do
- Client Relationship Management. Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at hedge funds, private equity firms, and asset managers. Serve as their main point of contact, ensuring that our services align with their business goals.
- Onboarding & Training. Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and clear communication on deliverables and timelines. Conduct training sessions to help clients understand our systems and services.
- Account & Service Management. Oversee the end-to-end service delivery to clients, ensuring that all reporting, accounting, and operational needs are met. Manage project timelines and client expectations to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Strategic Advisory. Understand the unique challenges and workflows of each client and provide tailored solutions. Advise clients on best practices, helping them navigate operational complexities and leverage our platform to drive efficiency.
- Proactive Communication. Lead regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), check-ins, and ad-hoc meetings to discuss performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Ensure clear communication between our internal teams and clients on service updates, issues, or enhancements.
- Escalation Management. Act as the first line of escalation for any client-related issues. Work with internal teams to resolve problems quickly and efficiently, ensuring that clients feel heard and valued throughout the process.
- Product Feedback Loop. Collect feedback from clients and translate it into actionable insights for our product and development teams. Advocate for new features or enhancements that will improve the client experience.
Qualifications
- Experience. 7+ years in client-facing roles within fund administration, prime brokerage, or investment operations. You should have a solid understanding of hedge fund and private equity structures and workflows.
- Technical Expertise. Strong knowledge of investment operations, including NAV calculations, investor reporting, trade processing, reconciliation, and fund accounting processes. Experience with financial software and platforms used by asset managers is a plus.
- Client-Facing Skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You should be comfortable managing expectations, providing clear updates, and handling complex discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving. A natural problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. You should be able to identify issues proactively, take ownership, and work cross-functionally to find solutions.
- Adaptability. Comfortable working in a dynamic, tech-driven environment where innovation and change are constant. You should be able to balance client needs with the evolving capabilities of our platform.
- Collaboration. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with product, tech, and operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services to clients.
